    Data Joining.

      Hi Norbert Maijoor, I need your help to Finding the Solution,

      Here I have 2 different Sources, 1) SQL  2) Excel.

      I need to Find out the CY Department wise Open positions And CY Closed Positions.

      Closed Positions  Data Resides in SQL Data Source. Open positions Data Resides In Excel Data Source.

      Actually Here I need to See CY Selected Month Open Positions & Closed Position on One Graph. (Side by Side Bar Chart).

      Closed Positions noting But a Emp Join Date.

      Open Positions Noting But Sum(Open positions).

      (Sql) My CY Closed Position Calculation field:

      COUNTD(IF  DATEPART('year', DATEADD('month',7,[Date Of Join]),'Monday') =

      IIF( DATEPART('year', DATEADD('month',7,TODAY()),'Monday') = DATEPART('year',TODAY(),'Monday'),

      DATEPART('year',TODAY(),'Monday'),

      DATEPART('year',TODAY(),'Monday')+1

      ) THEN [Emp No]

      End)

      (Excel) My CY Open Positions Calculation Field:

      SUM(

      IF

      DATEPART('year', DATEADD('month',7,[Date])) =

      IIF( DATEPART('year', DATEADD('month',7,TODAY()),'Monday') = DATEPART('year',TODAY(),'Monday'),

      DATEPART('year',TODAY(),'Monday'),

      DATEPART('year',TODAY(),'Monday')+1)

      THEN [Open Position] END)

      Above Calculations, If wrong lets know.

      Based On First Data Source i created Different Chart In that I made Department As Quick Filter. Here If i click Any Field in Department Filter, We need to  Effect Filter  Both The Data Sources How we can Do that. We need to make Department As Global Filter.

      Thanks,

      Harsha.
