I’d like to get any ideas on how to do something in Tableau. (not even sure what terms to use to look if there is a solution that may exist to give me some suggestions on similar problems).
Say I have a support ticket that is open 6/14/16 and is resolved 1/19/17. (so say I have columns ticket nr, start dt, stop dt). I need ideas on how I can get Tableau to count the ticket as open at the end of each month from 6/2016 through 12/2016 such as following:
Ticket May 16 Jun 16 Jul 16 Aug 16 Sep 16 Oct 16 Nov 16 Dec 16 Jan 17 Feb 17
