# FIXED-SUM-IF Help

Company_Name | Actual_Count | Count_Per_Day_Wrong (Actual_Count/14)

CompanyA | 1 | 0.07

CompanyB | 1171 | 83.64

CompanyC | 77 | 5.50

Total ---- 89.21 (Value will be 89 because it will be summed first before rounding)

Company_Name | Actual_Count | Count_Per_Day_Correct (Actual_Count/14)

CompanyA | 1 | 0 (value is rounded)

CompanyB | 1171 | 84 (value is rounded)

CompanyC | 77 | 6 (value is rounded)

Total ---- 90 (value is 90 because rounding occurred in Company level before getting the sum)

My current calculated field is:

``ROUND(ROUND( (SUM(IF [Container] = 'LargeContainer' THEN [Weight] END)) / COUNTD([Date]),2)) ``

This calculated field returns the value mentioned in the 1st table. How can I have the values rounded first by Company level then have the sum?

PS. Apologize if I can't explain it very well. Hope you guys can still understand the situation.

Hi Richard,

Find may approach based on Round-function as reference below and find stored workbook version 9.3 as attachment in original threat

Not Rounded: [Actual_Count]/14

Rounded: round([Not Rounded])

Upfront thanks for feedback

Norbert

Hi Richard,

Try this,

ROUND(ROUND(SUM(IF [Container] = 'LargeContainer' THEN [Weight] END),2)/COUNTD([Date]),0)

If still you're not getting the correct result then please provide some mock up data.

Hi Sir Norbert,

Thank you for your reply. I am able to do what was created on the attached dashboard but I only need the 90.00 value to return. Is this possible? Thanks!
