Hi Upendra. This is a new one for me. Are you going through a load balancer or a proxy? Does your server use SSL? If you're using SSL, you should enable it in config\vizalerts.yaml.
Thanks for your response!
We are not using any load balancer. and we are checking on the proxy thing.
I don't see any logs in these folders corresponding to vizalert activity:
Can you please let me know where I can see the log files on tableau server side.

Is the error same as the one faced by user Harsha in request number: 210528 ? The following is the link:
If so, can you describe the changes that he had done to resolve the issue.
Ah, good find! I guess I lied, we have seen that one before. I don't know what change Harsha Tatikonda made, so I'm not sure how it was resolved. But it looks like you already asked, so we'll see what Harsha says.

I have tested trusted authentication as it is explained here: http://onlinehelp.tableau.com/current/server/en-us/trusted_auth_testing.htm, and I was able to generate the trusted ticket.
Below are my latest attempts, tried with and without SSL. See different results below:

Any more ideas? Let me know.
Okay, good. So something is up with with the SSL cert, but let's ignore that for now and focus on the second test you did, with SSL set to true, and certcheck set to false.
The "-1" error is a good thing in that it means we're not hitting the redirect issue with that setting. That's an internal error from Tableau Server telling us that for some reason, the trusted ticket couldn't be generated based on the information we sent it. The way to figure out what is wrong definitively is to check the vizql log files as described here: Ticket Value of -1 Returned from Tableau Server . That will tell us what's going on, then we can make changes to fix it.
Thanks for the help, I guess I'm almost there
After checking the vizql log, I was able to rectify most of the things, But I'm still stuck at one point, It asks me for postgreSQL password for "readonly" user.
Should I need to pass the value in vizalerts.config file ?
Please go through the logs and let me know how to proceed.

I get the following page, which after entering the credentials takes me to the Tableau view
The problem is that you didn't embed the password when you published the workbook. You can re-publish it, and ensure the password is embedded in the connection on the Publish dialog box, or, even easier, you can just go the Connection page on the workbook in Server and edit it and embed the password directly. Once you do either of those things, it should work fine!
