This looks like an error from the ODBC Driver. You should confirm with the Driver vendor or Datastax but the error looks similar to other Simba drivers with other datasources. It appears that the driver cannot write to the local windows temp directory. You should look at driver documentation for your particular driver as it may be using a specific folder for temp files see this related post:
This will be a permissions or space issue.
Thanks for your reply, i have tried with this solution.
I am not getting any error but having issues with text columns.
Cassandra table has around 2.9 million records. According to size issue, Earlier i put directory path in c drive which has 15 gb free space that time it has thrown error(swap file error) within 5 minutes. now i changed directory to d drive which has 300 gb free space, now its not throwing any error and still executing query and temp file sizes are keep increasing.
with extract its working fine but with live connection its behaving like above. I only need live connection.
Old thread and hopefully Kusa found a solution for the error,
I ran into the same issue and a Tableau Expert helped me out
If you are using a windows machine , Clear your temp files created by Tableau
Driver: Datastax ODBC
