    Easy way to calculate NPS score using one calculated field

    Matti Airas

      I am sure what most of you dealing with NPS have already figure this out. Here is the simplest way (that I have figured out) on how to calculate NPS score using only one new calculated field.

      CASE [Bgv Nps]

      WHEN "Promoters" THEN 100

      WHEN "Passives" THEN 0

      WHEN "Detractors" THEN -100

      END

          Hi Matti,

          Find my approach below as reference and stored in attached workbook version 9.3

          a. Category:

          If Score>=9 then "Promotor"

          elseif Score>=7 and [Score]<=8 then "Passive"

          elseif [Score]<=6 then "Criticaster" END

          b. Criticasters: if [Category]="Criticaster" then [Number of Records] end

          c. Promotors:  if [Category]="Promotor" then [Number of Records] end

          d. Total: TOTAL(sum([Number of Records]))

          e. % Criticaster: sum([Criticaster])/[Total ]

          f. % Promotors: sum([Promotors]/[Total]

          g. NPS: [% Promotor]-[% Criticaster]
