    MDX Queries

    Ashok Bhatta

      Hi,

      I was trying to create a calculated member for Power pivot data source to find out the days left. However, the MDX Query was not valid and I got an error after that. I have attached the screen shot here.

      When I click on the show Query I got the info (Debug). The selected piece above is as follow:

      WITH

      MEMBER [Measures].[Icon] AS

      '''''',

      SOLVE_ORDER = 0, SCOPE_ISOLATION = CUBE

      MEMBER [01 Program_and_Projects].[Estimated End Date].[All].[Days Left] AS

      'WITH

      MEMBER [01 Program_and_Projects].[Estimated End Date] as [Estimated End Date]

      MEMBER [01 Program_and_Projects].[Today()] as [Today()]

      MEMBER [01 Program_and_Projects].[DateDiff] as [Estimated End Date] - [Today()]

      SELECT

      {[Estimated End Date],[Today()],[DateDiff]} ON COLUMNS FROM [Model]',

      SOLVE_ORDER = 0, SCOPE_ISOLATION = CUBE

      SELECT

      {[Measures].DefaultMember} DIMENSION PROPERTIES [MEMBER_UNIQUE_NAME],[MEMBER_CAPTION] ON COLUMNS,

      NON EMPTY [07 Tasks].[Reporting_Indicator].[Reporting_Indicator].AllMembers DIMENSION PROPERTIES [MEMBER_UNIQUE_NAME],[MEMBER_CAPTION] ON ROWS

      FROM [Model]

      WHERE

      ([01 Program_and_Projects].[Proj_Prog_Name].&[EIT_2016_EPF_16_10])

      I know the Query is not correct. How do I correct this query or get rid of the calculated member I have created? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
