    Data tree

    John Linville

Hi I am trying to create something similar to this in Tableau (I created this dummy table in Excel):

What this represents is a dataset from a survey that three questions (Q1-3) and 100 responses. Of those responses, 50 were 'Yes' for Q1 and 50 were 'No'. Of the 'Yes' responses for Q1, there were 20 that responded 'Yes' for Q2. Of those, 5 responded with 'Yes' for Q3. And so on.

The dataset has a unique survey ID (SID) for each survey (in this case, there are 100 [one for each response]), a unique question ID (QID) for each question (in this case, there are 3 [Q1, Q2, Q3]), and a unique answer ID (AID) (in this case, there are 2 [yes, no]).

      Something like this:

      SIDQIDAID
      11Y
      12Y
      13N
      21N
      22Y
      23N
      31N
      32Y
      33Y

Does anyone have any idea how I can create this sort of tree?

      Thanks,

      John
