I'm sorry I don't understand what is the issue without seeing the data.
Could you add your packaged workbook? (**.twbx)
I created two workbooks one as the desired view and the other as the "open question".
What I would like to happen is that when the user selects "Customer" from the parameter box that the Row values are represented as two distinct dimensions; Segment and Customer, as in the desired view.
I hope I understand the request correctly, anyway here is my approach.
if [Customer Type]="Customer Name" then [Customer Name]
else "" end
Not exactly meeting the request, but close enough?
Thank you. Not ideal but this could work - have to see how it views.
Regarding my original question replacing a pill is always one to one and never one to many?
I still don't understand that question...
Need data and illustration to know expectation.
The Customer Type parameter defined in the sample I provided replaces the row pill with either Segment or Customer Name. It is one OR the other. What I want to be able to do is to replace that one pill with multiple pills dynamically.
For example when I select Segment from the parameter, Segment would be the only pill effectively in the row
when I select Customer Name from the parameter I would like to see the row with both Segment and Customer Name as distinct pills.
