# How to filter Top 10% filter based on overall count

Hi All,

i am need of your help, actually i am trying to filter top 10% based on overall count.

see the below 2 screen shot one is complete list of values and another is top 10%. when we trying to filter 10% then percentage figures getting change based on the top 10 count.

however i want to take top 10 based on overall count not on top 10 overall count.

please suggest/guide me how to get it done.

Regards,

Try to use LOD expression to fix Percentage value at dimension level like below :

{ FIXED [Customer Name] : SUM([Order Quantity ]/({ FIXED : SUM([Order Quantity ])})) }

attaching the sample workbook.

Calculated filed as filter

[Filter]

running_sum(sum([Counting Tbl]))

/attr({ FIXED : SUM([Counting Tbl])}) <=[Top N %]/100

And change all other filters except measure value to "Context Filter"

Thanks,.
