Need help with a complicated filters

    Yazeed AlWaheaid

      Hi,

I work at a charity foundation and we are trying to measure the effect of our programs on students score on two different years, depending on student status on each program (Accepted, Not Accepted).

Our goal is to show change on students score comparing a year to the year before it, accepted column in students table represents student accepted state in a program and a year.

Students connect to a program that shows their status regarding eligibility and acceptance, we also have multiple scores for each student, and each score connects to a single year.

this is how we think the data should look:

      Untitled Diagram.png

and this is a sample of the data:

The viewer should choose two years (Single Value (List)) for each year and choose the below filter on each year, and we are trying to show the filters like this table and each column should be a radio button group that allows a single choice:

      Program

      Accepted

      NOT Accepted

      All

      -

      O All Programs

      O All Programs

      O All Programs

      Program 1

      O

      O

      O

      Program 2

      O

      O

      O

      Program n

      O

      O

      O

Is it possible to achieve this filter? Would you do it in a different way that will get the same result?

Any suggestions are welcomed, Thank you.

This is hard to work through or think about without seeing an actual workbook where you have tried to design this. This will likely help me or somebody else get a better understanding of the problem. Having an example of what you think you'd like to see, even if it's just a screenshot pointing out the data, would be super helpful. Feel free to use mock data since I doubt sharing student information is possible.
