    SSL Error while login in Tableau Server

      Hi,

       

      I am  trying to convert  tableau server login from http to https.

      I used steps provided in below link -

      Using above steps i  am able to genretae .key, .csr and .crt files and configured all  these files in SSL tab of server configuration.

      when i am trying to login i am getting error -

       

      we could not find a valid client certificate, for help contact your tableau adminstrator

      Attached is error snapshot .

       

      Please help me to resolve this issue.

          hi Pinki,

           

          When we use ssl certificate in tableau then first buy the wildcard certificate and then use it. Certificate cost based one.

          When you try using creating crt then that is not in use. You can send to that crt to certificate provider and pay the money.

          Example: SSL Certificate - Generate a Key and CSR

          read: Send the CSR to a certificate authority to obtain an SSL certificate in url above.

          Whatever you created then we can get ca to obtain ssl. But that will be cost based and not free.

          When we buy ssl then go with wildcard ssl certificate.single wildcard, will use in you company n number of domains.
