I have a created a worksheet that shares a relationship between two data sources.
In data source A, there is contract information. In data source B, there is spend information. The common field between them is "Supplier". The worksheet works as is expected and and the supplier name in data source A matches the supplier name in data source B the spend is calculated for that supplier. However, I also need to inclued the "Owners" of each "Supplier" and some have multiple owners and when there are multiple owners I get the same spend twice in a row. Is there a way for Tableau to recognize that when there is more than one owner to put them in the same field and not double count the spend?
It looks like you might have something funny with your data. Are the SUM() really in the data twice, or are you doing that with an LOD?
Regardless, you could look at using MAX() on the Owner Field (If there is really a duplicate piece of data here though, your final amounts will be doubled)
