if possible please provide some sample workbook.
i have managed to do a part of your provided image using sample superstore dataset.
i used sub-category field and created 8 groups with 2 items in each.
created two parameters one for group 1-4 and second group 5-8
please find the attached workbook for your reference.

If I blend using the common filters issue is solved, although there will be performance issue. That's fine.
