Lets see if following steps help you to get your desired results:
1. Create a parameter, Ad Hoc Color a boolean data type.
2. Create a parameter, New Center Amount,an integer data type.
3. Create a formula, Color Formatting as below:
Make sure you use 1st and 2nd step as filters. So, if Ad Hod Color is no, no matter what you type in New Center Amount, colors will not change. But, if it is yes, then center amount will be based on New Center Amount thus will make colors to change based on user defined number.
I hope it helps to answer your question. Thank you
Forgot to mention that you have to bring Calculated field 'Color Formatting' to color.
First of all, thanks for replying. You're almost there!
Right now I'm calculating productivity rates for different teams. That's why I want the dynamic center: Example: for team A productivity treshold can be 100% (1 in the parameter) and for team B it can be 80% (0.8 in the parameter, which is why I switched data type to float)
It now seems to have a problem with the MAX function in the calculated field because as you can see in the example below in 2 blue circles, my new center amount is 1 but the color of the square is the same as the one with the 0 value.
The goal of my need is to show red squares for values under the New Center Amount and green ones for values over...
I hope it's clear,
thanks and have a good day !
