How to color dimension specific labels

    Vincent Baumel

I'm trying to find a way to color labels based on whether they are above or below their average line. I'm pretty sure I've seen an explanation of how to do this before, but my google-fu is failing me. My instincts tell me something like this:

      if {fixed max([order date]): sum([sales])} > {fixed [sub-category]: avg([sales]) } then "Above Average" else "Below Average" end

but I don't think I can do an aggregate as the dimension in an LOD. Maybe I'm thinking about it all wrong. My end goal is sparklines with formatted ending labels. Any idea where I'm going wrong?
