I have looked thru the forums and can't seem to locate what I am trying to do or it's just not quite sinking in for me. What I am trying to do is to have a visualization that shows a suppliers financial health ratings. They have an overall rating, which is not a problem, but they also have rating for coverage, banking, liquidity, solvency etc. I would like to have a rectangle/square in the cell with a color based on the rating. Ratings can be from Excellent down to Concern which I have given a number from 1 to 10. In some cases they may have a rating "banking thru parent" or an NA as the rating. So the cell would be colored Green for excellent and red for the concerned ones. Blue would be used for Banking thru Parent or NA. I want the middle values to be yellow, so fair would be yellow. I just can't seem to get this to work within Tableau. Is there any way to do this within Tableau.
There are all sorts of discussions out there about coloring the cell background.
First one that comes up in google:
You'll put your [Coverage] dimension on the colors shelf to set the background colors.
