While you can't remove the "Manage My Subscriptions" button from the emails, you could use tabcmd to send custom subscription emails which will not contain the link:
I hope this helps,
I am a product manager who works on this feature. May I ask, why are you trying to disable/remove this link? As folks have more subscriptions, this link provides a convenient way for them go go manage their subscriptions. So it'd be great to understand your use-case.
I'm also looking for this functionality. The use case is that we have Tableau embedded in a custom web portal, call it www.customportal.com. When users subscribe to a report and click any link in the subscription email it takes them to the Tableau server, call it www.tableauserver.com. That's not what we want. We need to either send users to www.customportal.com or remove links altogether.
I know we can edit the site url in the server settings, but that then breaks the "forgot my password" link.
A use-case for me is that I don't want my end users to easily change their subscription setting, in the case of an error message, so they will continue to receive the messages. I rely upon human laziness If someone has to open a browser, log on to the Tableau Server, go to their settings page, etc. the chances are very good they won't do that...however!...if they are [essentially] provided an unsubscribe link that makes the access to unsubscribe fast and easy they are more likely to do it. This is the one time Tableau's "fast and easy" is a detriment, LOL
It's because end users can unsubscribe from email warnings that I implemented a VizAlert to send them one anyway; nobody can unsubscribe from them
