Are you using the parameter to filter? If yes, Please try the below formula.
If not, it would be great if you could share the Tableau Workbook. .twbx file and the expected output.
elseif [Parameter1] = "All" then
Rasa Raza and Andrew WatsonThanks both of you, it worked. But I am curious to one thing - in my parameter, I created a list for versions field such as 1.0 ,1.2, 1.3 and (All). Then as you said I made a calculated field and was trying to do If, ElseIf for all (1.0,1.2,1.3) in my parameter and it wasn't working. But when I changed the code to just :
IF [Parameter]="(All)" THEN "TRUE"
ELSEIF [Parameter]=[Versions]THEN "TRUE"
It worked. Now I in my dropdown even if I select 1.0 it works and if I say- All it works then too. How? My code above doesn't have anything for 1.0 or 1.2 or 1.3. Can you explain this ?
Your formula can be simplified to [Parameter]="(All)" OR [Parameter]=[Versions]
It's saying if the value in the parameter is equal to the value in Versions then return that value. If the parameter is All then return everything - i.e. all versions.
