I have a field that lists impacted lines of business. So for example, ticket 1 impacted LOB1, LOB2 and LOB3.
I need a way to filter the ticket list by one LOB at a time. I tried using the contains function:
IF CONTAINS(LOB, "LOB1") THEN "LOB 1
ELSEIF CONTAINS(LOB, "LOB2"" THEN "LOB2"
This won't work because if one ticket impacted LOB1 and LOB2, the formula only counts in LOB1 because of the order of the formula.
Is there any way to make a calculated field that will work for this? I can use a wildcard match filter, but that's not a very positive customer experience. Thoughts?
How about if you create three separate calculated fields, one for each LOB. For example:
This should produce three True/False fields. Then you can place each of these calculated fields on your filter shelf, and those that you select "True" for, will show up in your viz.
