Imagine a sheet where Rows = ORDER# and Columns = ORDERCHARACTERISTICS filtered for characteristics X, Y, Z.
Using additional data from my data source, I have created calculated dimensions (X1, Y1, Z1) that return descriptors for X, Y, Z, if applicable and blank if not.
Adding these dimensions as new rows gives me the something close to the format I want, but creates subrows under each ORDER# row:
