Create a parameter with all the Years of your data. When write:
IF [Select Year] = YEAR( [Data Date]) OR
[Select Year]-1 = YEAR( [Data Date]) THEN [Data Date] END
Put the calc on the filter shelf. Reveal the parameter and it will show the two years.
Thanks for the quick reply Shawn.
I already created a parameter for years. I have 4 years in my parameter (2016,2015,2014 and 2013). I have a trend line showing data of total students for selected years.
What I want is, on selecting 2016 from the parameter list, trend line should display data of total students for both the years 2016 and 2015. On selecting 2015 trend line should display data of 2015 and 2014 and so on.
As has been said many, many times before: provide a sample packaged workbook and I'm happy to show you how to do this.
Thanks very much. but that’s not I want to. What I want to is a radius surround a place site(see the following picture).
Could you download the attach. There is 11 place sites in the Tableau. I need to draw a cycle. The radius of the circle is preferably varied from 1 to 100 miles.
Could you example it for me.
Have a good day.
