    CRM vs SQL

      I have been trying to create some simple reports using our CRM Salesforce recently and I have been running into a lot of issues and problems. The two main ones are that one it takes over a half an hour to only pull in 3 objects at a time and two is the numbers showing up on some of the simple reports I am trying to create is not pulling all the data needed that I know is in our CRM and is basically giving me incorrect information/numbers. I am just wondering if this is common with Salesforce or other CRM's and whether or not it would be better idea if I just used the SQL where the data for our company is housed and where Salesforce pulls it from?
