A line chart could do this, however if you're just looking at how the vendors ranked against one another, you might find this view effective:
You could modify it so the Tooltip shows the detail you require.
Unfortunately, if this is the scope of your data, I'm afraid it's going to look pretty boring

I would say , This is a Good Start for me .
But just setting some point of expectation
I like to have List of Vendors in Row and List of Ranks for Each Year.
Vendor 2016 Value 2015 Value 2014 Value
A 1 2 3B 2 3 1
C 3 4 2
D 4 1 4
