    How do we get the value of the last row of the underlying data set within each partition.

      Hi,

       

      We have a data set containing daily performance figures.

      Most of the figures are deltas (e.g. Period Income) during the period - but one is a balance as of the end of the day.

       

      I've created a stripped down workbook to show how we want to view the data (see attached)

       

      We are displaying the 'Bank Balance At End Of Period' as an average ...

      ... BUT what we really want is the value of the last row of the underlying data set for each of the visible rows (partitions?).

      In other words the August 2016 'Bank Balance At End Of Period' should be 48,507.59 taken from the 15th August row in the underlying data set.

       

      Having looked at the documentation it looks like we need to use INCLUDE get the partitioning right but all attempts thus far are not working.

       

      Apologies if I've mixed up some of the Tableau language in trying to explain our problem.

       

      Any guidance / advice is greatly appreciated.
