Hi there! Tableau newbie - please excuse me if this question is obvious.
I am utilizing a table with all of my data and dynamic charts that will show the ranking above the the table. However, some of the rankings are not applicable to all of the measures in the table. For example, I have a ranking based on the amount of Twitter spend for each article- but not all articles have active spend against them and are therefore the data is $0. This causes the chart to place them all as a tie for the last ranking. Is there a way to create an if statement to say "If the spend is $0, then the ranking should say N/A" instead of saying the articles are all tied for last?
Thank you very much for the help!
Untested but might work...
Can you change your formula to IF SUM([Spend]) > 0 THEN RANK([Spend]) END. Hopefully that would return a NULL value for those with 0 spend. If so you could format the Null values to N/A
