If you're trying to find the average, why don't you just right click Grade Point Value on the rows shelf and change the aggregation to AVG?
I have extracted the data and sent the packaged workbook again. I cannot convert convert Agg to Avg as measure is greyed out. There is something that I am trying to do is not right. For example in year 2015, Literary Exploration 1
gives a range of Avg Grade Point from 65 to 95. Not an average score. To find the Avg Grade Point I have used Sum([Grade Point Value])/SUM([Number of Records]). Please correct me if I am wrong.

There's something funky with your Grades sheet and the fact it wont allow you to use the [Grade Point Value] measure in the report with an AVG on it. I don't know why, it might be a bug in an old version - which version are you using?
I'm on 9.3.4 and here's what I did;
- Created a new blank sheet
- Dragged [Grade Storecode] to filters and set to S1, added Grade Year to filters and set to 2015.
- Added Course Name to Columns
- Added Grade Point Value to Rows and set it to AVG aggregation.
Here's the result;
I could attach the packaged workbook but it won't work in your version of Tableau. However, can you replicate these steps in your version and let me know if this gives you what you need?
Yes, i is calculating the Avg grade per subject per year
