    Tableau 9 - SSAS MDX Set

    Freddy Setiawan

      Has anyone tried to connect to SSAS Cube based data source and tried to create a "MDX Set"?

      Basically I need to get this query done in Tableau:

      WITH

      SET [5M] as FILTER(([Client].[Client Group English Name].CHILDREN), [Measures].[Vendor Cost] < 5000000)

      SET [10M] as FILTER(([Client].[Client Group English Name].CHILDREN), [Measures].[Vendor Cost] > 10000000)

      MEMBER [Client].[Client Group English Name].[All].[Under 5M] as AGGREGATE([5M])

      MEMBER [Client].[Client Group English Name].[All].[Above 10M] as AGGREGATE([10M])

      SELECT NON EMPTY Hierarchize({DrilldownLevel({[Client].[Client Group English Name].[All]},,,INCLUDE_CALC_MEMBERS)}) ON COLUMNS,

      {

      [Measures].[Vendor Cost],

      [Measures].[Client Cost]

      ....

      }

      FROM [Booking]

      WHERE ([Media Vehicle].[Media Type English Name].&[8]

        ,[Media Vehicle].[Media Subtype English Name].&[1]

        ,[Media Vehicle].[Media Vehicle English Name].&[15264]

        ,[Date].[Year-Quarter-Month-Day].[Calendar Year].&[2015])

      I can get almost everything except for "SET".

      Tried to use create SET in Tableau Desktop, but I can't reuse them in the calculated member.

      Basically I tried to create a "bin" in MDX, but the instruction here (KB) is not quite cut it.
