    How to use different start/middle/ends for highlight tables

    Michael Cuello

      Hello!

      I am working with highlight tables and I am running into an issue I can't seem to figure out. I have one dimension called "Assignment" and then a time associated with that dimension (the last end time). I currently have it set up so if it is past 7pm, it is highlighted red and before 7pm is green. However, I have two assignments that need to be highlighted differently (one after 8pm and the other after 9pm). Is there an easy fix or calculation to get this to read this way?

      Thanks ahead of time!

      Best,

      Mike

          Logically, why is that particular assignment different?

          I assume you already have a calculated field you're using for the color marks card like: IF [Time] > "19:00" then 'Red' else 'Green' END  ?

          If so, just expand that so it covers your specific assignment scenarios;

          IF ([Assignment] = 'Special' or [Assignment] = 'Late') and [Time] > "20:00" then

          "Red"

          ELSEIF ([Assignment] = 'Special' or [Assignment] = 'Late') and [Time] < "20:00" then

          "Green"

          ELSEIF [Time] > "19:00" THEN

          "Red"

          ELSE

          "Green"

          end
