Can level of detail expressions SUM across columns AND rows?

Hello developers.  Please refer to attached screenshot.  I am attempting to compare number of records or COUNT of SKUs.  However, I only perform this count if rank of R is > rank of Q.  As you see i the screenshot, rank of 14 is > rank of 5.  When I add in the filter to capture only R > Q, Tableau processes the information record by record.  Is Tableau able to do (via Level of detail expressions) process across columns and records?  Unfortunately, I cannot share the TBWX vile due to sensitivity of the data.  Just curious if Tableau can perform desired behavior I laid out?
