# Percent of Total - Calculating % Difference from Results

Hello,

I have a basic table based on a survey:

Response
2013201420152016
Null191111
Better4663504323
The Same666516324244
Worse217213167144

To aggregate the results I have added a table calculation (table down) to work out the percent of total for each response each year as follows:

Response2013201420152016
Null1%1%0%0%
Better34%32%8%6%
The Same49%47%61%59%
Worse16%20%31%35%

I want to be able to calculate the % year on year change for each response.  E.g. The amount of 'better' responses increased by 10% between 2013 & 2014.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

You just need to make a slight tweak to your Table Calculation to show "Percent Difference From" and "Table (Across)". Example attached.

You can also get the previous value with LOOKUP(SUM([Value]), -1) if you'd like to customize the calculation.

Attached an example.
