Exclude certain values from filter based on parameter selection

    mudit kshatriya

I have a quick filter which has multiple items in it. Now I want to create a parameter which will have various options. For example - Parameter has a dropdown : Option 1 : Exclude Item A . This should exclude item A from the quick filter. If I select "Option 2 - Exclude Item C" then the quick filter should exclude Item C in it.

Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

      Thanks

Easiest solution I can think of would be to avoid parameters altogether. Instead, create a duplicate of your field, set the filter to exclude selected values, add the duplicate field to the context, then set your quick filter to only include values in context.

If you really want to use parameters, create a new calculation that is 1 when the your field is equal to the value set in the parameter and 0 otherwise. Filter on that new calculated field, add the filter to context, and set other quick filter to use values in context.
