There is a table with Week number and User ID and we need to find the moving 2 weeks count of unique users.
i.e. we need to find the Unique customers collectively in week1 and week2 , then week2 and week3 , then week3 and week4 and so on.
In tableau we tried to get this result by using Window_Sum(CountD(UserID)). But Tableau is Calucating it as (Unique users of W1+Unique Users of W2) which is not the desired result.
Please find below sample table and the expected output.
Sample DataWeek User IDW1 1W1 2W1 3W2 3W2 4W2 5W3 4W3 5W3 6W4 4W4 5W4 6
Expected Output TableauOutputUnique Users(W1+W2) 5 6Unique Users(W2+W3) 4 6Unique Users(W3+W4) 3 6
how to calculate unique users on a running period for a week alone -
Can you please clarify your expected output - specifically what is the "6" listed at the end of each expected output? W1 + W2 has 5 unique users.
