How to track count of a certain value for each dimension

    Kelly L

I have a set of a data organized by material number.  Each material number has multiple data fields showing different attributes of that material.

I need to create a visual showing how many fields have "#" as a value.  The tricky part is I need it tracked by each attribute.

Here is an example of what the data looks like:

      Material NumberColorPriorityWidthAssignmentLength

      10

      redlow86.3A

      LONG

      11bluehigh75.6ASHORT
      12#low#ASHORT
      13#low100.6#LONG
      14green###LONG
      15red#200.6##
      16red#5.5C

      #

      17#high48.5CLONG
      18greenlow65.6#SHORT
      19#low#BSHORT
      20

      #

      low75.6CLONG
      21bluemedium69.5ALONG
      22redmedium65.3ALONG

I need a chart that will show each attribute on the X axis (Color, Priority, Width, etc) and then the number of materials with "#" as a value for that column on the Y axis.

A count for the Y axis would be perfect, but I also need to be able to drill down and see which material numbers are included in that count (ex: 5 materials have "#" for color and then drill down to see material numbers 12,13,17,19,20).

      Is this possible?
      Thanks for any answers!
