Not clear on what you are looking for. Do you want to show Time only in color based on the shift or based on the value that you have in second column. Can you mock something in xls on what ur output should look like and someone can help you out.
So you still want to show date/times in the graph and what does second column means in your data that are color coded.. can you mock something in xls or paper to show what's ur end goal. Also share ur data..
Below is the graph I'm looking to get, I want to show the previous' days colors broken up by shift.
I've attached my raw data, the shift time designations are
Shift 1 7AM-3PM
Shift 2 3PM-11PM
Shift 3 11PM-7AM

- Create a calc field; Shift Name
if DATEPART('hour', [Timestamp]) >= 7 and DATEPART('hour', [Timestamp]) < 15 then "S1"
elseif DATEPART('hour', [Timestamp]) >= 15 and DATEPART('hour', [Timestamp]) < 23 then "S2"
- Drag Shift Name to Columns
- Drag Number of records to Rows
- Drag Status to color mark shelf
This is what you should get and hope this helps;
