    Sheet selector for multi value

    Nakarest Chumsuntivut

I'm stuck with a problem that I can't use a sheet filter to show group of region, the result I want is to use a shape as a filter if I select circle it will be shown only region (central, east, south) select square it will be show (central, east, west).

Also try to use set but facing with a problem about boolean cannot use with IF function.

      Thanks
      Nakarest

          Hello Nakarest Chumsuntivut,

I'm not sure of a way to do this with a shape but you can do it with a parameter.  See attached sheet 16.

I created a parameter for the two values.  I included another value of "all" and then i created a filter:

          ----------------------

          if [CES or CEW]="CES" then

              if [Region]="Central" then 'show'

              elseif [Region]="East" then 'show'

              elseif [Region]="South" then 'show'

              END

          ELSEif [CES or CEW]="CEW" then

              if [Region]="Central" then 'show'

              elseif [Region]="East" then 'show'

              elseif [Region]="West" then 'show'

              END

ELSEif [CES or CEW]="All" then 'show'

          else "hide"

          END

Place the filter and the parameter in the view and then it will work.  Maybe someone has an idea how to get a shape associated?  I tried for awhile and gave up.
