    Help with Non-Relational Database

    Rohit Lodha

      Hi

I have the following data structure

      Department
      Category
      BrandPackSales

      A

      XNullNull1
      AYBrand1Null2
      AZNullPack13
      BXBrand2Null4
      BYNullPack25
      BPNullNull6

In the above table, I need four types of totals.

Each total is defined as follows:

      1. For the Total Department Value -> Sum up Sales for all the Categories that have Null in Brand and Pack

      2. For the Category Totals -> Category list must be populated in accordance with the department selected. (For dep A, Category X,Y and Z need to be shown). The category total, for a particular department, will be given when Brand and Pack are Null. So a single row for every category.

      3. For the Brand/Pack Total -> For a particular Category in a particular Department, Brand/Pack total will be the "Sales" given for that brand. NOTE: Pack will be Null when Brand is given and vice versa. So a single row for every brand and Package.

How the dashboard is to be designed is ->

Department Filter -> Category Filter -> Brand Filter/Package Filter (with only relevant values being shown for every succeeding filters)
