Filter to show last x records based on date

    John McIntosh

Hi - apologies if this is a straightforward question but my 2 hrs of googling hasnt been successful.

I am looking to put a filter in to show only the last x records from the most recent record date. The dataset i am using (salesforce opportunities and activities) brings in all past activities for each opportunity. Some have 20+ activities which makes it hard to look at so I would like to only show the most recent 3 or 5 activities related to that opportunity.

MAX date filters it fine on the subject (some have the same subject) but ultimately when i expand out that it brings in all the other activities.(couple of screenshots below and table to indicate how i currently have it laid out

Was hoping to put a filter in to simply say "Give me the last x records based on the most recent date"

      any help greatly appreciated

      With the max date filter

when subject is expanded out to reveal more detail (brings in all tasks)
