    Highlight table - RAG limits per partition

    Praveen Athanki

      Hi,

      Is it possible to come up with a highlight table coloured based on RAG (Red-Amber-Green) limits per row?

      In the example above, RAG limits would be

      CategoryRed limitsAmber limitsGreen limits
      Furniture< 20,00020,001 to 50,000> 50,000
      Office Supplies< 50,00050,001 to 80,000> 80,000
      Technology< 75,00075,001 to 100,000

      > 100,000

          Hi Praveen.

          Please find attached the tableau packaged workbook which includes the calculation needed to do the RAG per partition.

          The calculation I have used is the following:

          IF ATTR([Category]) = 'Furniture' AND SUM([Sales])<= 20000 then 'RED'

          ELSEIF ATTR([Category]) = 'Furniture' AND SUM([Sales])<= 50000 then 'AMBER'

          ELSEIF ATTR([Category]) = 'Furniture' AND SUM([Sales])> 50000 then 'GREEN'

          elseif ATTR([Category]) = 'Office Supplies' AND SUM([Sales])<= 50000 then 'RED'

          ELSEIF ATTR([Category]) = 'Office Supplies' AND SUM([Sales])<= 80000 then 'AMBER'

          ELSEIF ATTR([Category]) = 'Office Supplies' AND SUM([Sales])> 80000 then 'GREEN'

          elseif ATTR([Category]) = 'Technology' AND SUM([Sales])<= 75000 then 'RED'

          ELSEIF ATTR([Category]) = 'Technology' AND SUM([Sales])<= 100000 then 'AMBER'

          ELSEIF ATTR([Category]) = 'Technology' AND SUM([Sales])> 100000 then 'GREEN'

          END

          Hope this works for you.

          Thanks

          Lorna
