Row & Column Grand Totals Using Different "Total By"?

Is it possible to have my row grand totals totaled as an AVG and my column grand totals totaled as a SUM?

I am working on replicating an existing report at our institution that has five years of data, with the years as the column headers, with a five year average at the end of the rows, and the sum of the categories at the end of the columns.

I have created a band-aid approach using two separate tables, where the top table is my main data in categories with the averaged grand total of the rows, and the bottom table is my main data without categories (i.e., grand total of columns) with the averaged grand total of the row.  However, I would like to add functionality that allows the end user to change the size of the main table, which causes the floated second table to be misplaced when the main table changes size.

      Any suggestions?
