# Why is it missing Marks?

pretty straight forward (i think)  i can see there is sales data for 2011 in the first week but it doesn't appear as a mark ... help investigating or explaining why?

Hey Jon,

Technically week 1 for 2011 is Saturday, January 1st and week 2 starts the next day.

Hi Jon,

Per usual, Ken is absolutely right. It's unfortunately working as intended. If you're wanting to look at full weeks starting with the first of the year, here is a calculation that would help with that. Just replace [Date] with your date field, and use this calculation as you would use "week number"

if datepart('year', [Date])/4 = INT(DATEPART('year', [Date])/4)

then

(if DATEDIFF('day', DATETRUNC('year', [Date]), [Date]) <=365 then

floor(DATEDIFF('day', DATETRUNC('year', [Date]), [Date])/7)+1

else null end)

else

(if DATEDIFF('day', DATETRUNC('year', [Date]), [Date]) <=364 then

floor(DATEDIFF('day', DATETRUNC('year', [Date]), [Date])/7)+1

else null end)

END

Hope this helps,
Zack
