# Find an unique user count for a particular subscriber

I am trying to get a count of unique users that fall into a group.

I have a subscriber that views one or multiple channels a day.I am having a particular Advertisement which telecasts through out the channels on that day.

I need the unique count of users that views that particular advertisement in one channel only, example:

Groups

- User 1 has viewed that advertisement in HBO and STAR TV.

- User 4 has viewed that advertisement in HBO and STAR TV and in ZEE network also.

My query is I want to find out the no of user who has viewed that add in HBO only or STAR only.

I should not get the no of user who viewed it in multiple channel.

There are hundred no of channel registered for the subscriber with millions of user.

Hi There!

You could maybe do:

{Fixed [Channel] : COUNTD([Users]) }

If you are looking to get the count per month or a specific date field in your dataset, you can include the date as well in the FIXED dimension declaration along with channel.

If this doesn't work, I recommend attaching some raw data or a packaged workbook with some sample data.

I have done the same thing. But what if (if a person watched that advertisement in lets say HBO and ZEE tv both).

IF I do {Fixed [Channel] : COUNTD([Users]) } then I will get 1 user for HBO and the same user for ZEE too.

But I want the count of those user who only watched in HBO or only watched in ZEE but not in both.

I have attach the sample excel workbook.

Oh I see, then that would be a calculation like this:

if { fixed [HH account number] : countd([N/w]) } = 1 then [N/w] end

Place the calc on rows, remove nulls and place CNTD(Account number) on text on the marks card.

Hi,

You can simply create a set on HH account number to get the number of users who have watched a single channel.

e.g

then in condition tab choose the N/w field count=1

then drag set which you have create into filters shelf, N/w into row shelf and HH account number in the label(select the measure as count distinct).

you will get the out put.
