          Hi

Create a blank worksheet, and follow this screenshot

If you wish to amend font, size, right click...

Then create a new dashboard, and drag the new sheet to the dashboard, hide title, position, format as required.

          Cheers

          Mark

            Hello Mark,

            Thanks for your response.

But I have one more problem

I want to change this number accordingly.

But in Sheet there is no option like apply using this Data Source.

Is there any solution for this problem.

              HI Nilay

              I'm not sure i understand 100%

I want to change this number accordingly.

But in Sheet there is no option like apply using this Data Source.

You could create these counts, one per data source, and put them altogether on a dashboard

              or

if its part of the same data set, you'll need to use filters, to apply the sectioning you need.

Or have i misunderstood? Do you mean keep the data live and updating? or something else?

              Cheers

              Mark

                Hello Mark,

I want the count updating based on filter.

if I select some value from one the filter then this count should also be change based on filter  that what I want.

As shown in image I want that arrow marked number should be change.

                it should not be static.

                    Hi Nilay

I have mocked up something very basic for you.

Sheet 1 is a count of records (as we did above)

Sheet 2 is a random report I quickly made

Dashboard simply contains sheets 1 and 2.

                    The interesting stuff -

dashboard actions, and apply filters across worksheets.

The key is to apply the same filter you do in sheet 2 (your report), to sheet 1 (your row counting sheet), you need to keep them aligned with each other.

                    working v9.1 example attached.

in the dashboard, pick a sub category, and the number of associated 'rows' is displayed

It isn't perfect, but hope it shows you the idea/ technique

                    Cheers

                    Mark
