Joining data sources on one column to multiple columns?

    Valerie Liang

I have two tables that I am trying to get information from and mocked up some dummy data with the same structure.

Table #1lists names of workers and each job ID they have (each person works 3 jobs)

Table #2 lists job positions by Job ID.

Third table is what I need to get in Tableau but haven't figured out how to do this- I need to list all the positions and the people who work in each position.. Note that there can be more than one per position. I can't figure out how to join, because I can only join Job ID from Table #2 with just one column from Table 1. So when I join Table2.JobID with Table1.JobID#1, I only get the people who have that as their first job position, but I also need it to look through Table1.JobID#2 and Table1.JobID#3. Any ideas? Thanks!
