Hey Pavitra,

You can use an LoD calculation to sum up the data ignoring the [Day Captured] field.

It looks like something like this would work, based on your screenshot:

{FIXED [Region], [Cost Center Description] : SUM([MyValueField])}

Hope this helps!

Hi Pavitra,

I may have got this wrong but from looking at the picture it looks like you're splitting your view by including the table calc to get to your summation in the Columns shelf (Today's sparkline).

To combine the two so you have a line with a point at the end, you will need to convert this into a Dual Axis with the first set of marks set to line and the second set to circles with the final point sized accordingly.

If this is the case, you will not be able to graphically show todays value as a circle on the same axis as the line.

Thanks,
Charlie

{FIXED [Region], [Cost Center Description] : SUM([Amazon Web Service Instance Type ID])} its throwing me error basically i need sum of cnt([Amazon Web Service Instance Type ID])

• 4. Re: sparkline with summation

What's the error?

If you need a count, you can switch to COUNT in the FIXED function:

{FIXED [Region], [Cost Center Description] : COUNT([Amazon Web Service Instance Type ID])}

• 5. Re: sparkline with summation

This is counting all the days but it should be current day total

• 6. Re: sparkline with summation

Like this?

{FIXED [Region], [Cost Center Description] : SUM({FIXED [Region], [Cost Center Description], [[Day Captured] : COUNT([Amazon Web Service Instance Type ID])})}

The result is showing me the same as before..
