# Combined Grand Total

Hi all,

I'm using calculation below to differentiate Actual or Forecast BUT now my Grand Total is no longer a proper Grand Total.

I'm trying to get my Grand Total row to show the value of 1,307 - which is 893 + 414.

Calculation:

IF [Full Date] >= [Today] THEN 'Forecast'

ELSE 'Actual'

END

Appreciate all the help I can get.

Cheers,

Lindsey

Hi Hrvoje,

Thank you for the reply! I am getting an error with the calculation in your workbook. The calculation is something like this?

IF [Order Date] >= #3.12.2014.# THEN "Forecast" ELSE "Actual" END

Cheers,

Lindsey

Hi Lindsey,

I just made example. We have different format in Europe. You can put any date in # #.

Oh I get what you mean, thank you so much! It works on a normal table BUT now I need it to work on a dual axis table.

I will try to get a sample/screenshot to show you. If you can help that would be awesome!!

Hi Hrvoje,

The three columns: Req,  Actual/Forecast and MTD +/- are using dual axis to colour the column MTD+/-

The Actual/Forecast column is using the calculation mentioned above. Grand Total for Actual/Forecast is incorrect because only the Actual total is visible. I can't somehow include the calculation on the column shelf and hide it...

Any ideas?

Hi Lindsay,

I'm not good with those Excel like applications of Tableau, so I couldn't give the right answer without example of workbook. Maybe someone has better answer than me.
