What OS does the machine - where you want to run tabcmd from - runs on?
I think the only problem is to use a mail client.
if you're looking for the report itself then you can create a subscription schedule on server in order to handle email of a report. And then you can deploy tabcmd runschedule in order to kickoff this schedule via your script.
i think u r not getting me...
i want to schedule report to csv - this can be done through tabcmd.
but the scheduling not suppose to be to folder (as it is by deafult),
but to a user/somebody's mail...
why clog up your email with data? Why not just output the CSV to a file share and then point your users to this?
1st - u r right
2nd - but, customer needs...!
so can or can't?
i didn't see option in tabcmd for that...
suggest the alternative, be a bit out there...
It is possible but not with tabcmd alone. tabcmd can only export csv and save and you have to take care of sending
if you have a windows machine with a configured outlook, then you can for example create a VBS script....
there are many options
Here is a blog that does this with pdf (using tabcmd), it could easily be switched to csv.
It is based on Windows, using powershell.
Hope it helps!
