Thanks to all of those who attended our CTUG Meetings in August and November 2015. Both of these events were very successful with turnouts of about 50-60 people each. We pushed the limits of the space provided by our hosts at TekSystems with people still on waiting lists on the day of meetings. In 2016, we're working to find larger venues so that we'll have space for everyone interested in attending.
In our last meeting, we conducted an informal survey to understand what attendees were hoping to get from the CTUG. We learned that most people wanted more meetings and we also learned about attendees' specific areas of interest. We're hoping to meet these needs through regular speaker meetings, special events and also a series just for beginners. Watch for updates to the Calendar of Events on our Group page for details. Results of that survey are available in our Public Share folder.
Many thanks to all of our speakers this past year: Scott Magnuson,Christopher Scott, Joe Bush, Shane Gordon, Aaron Romeo, and Nick Arrington! The presentations were both educational and entertaining. Many of the materials from these meetings can be found in a shared Google Drive at Public Share.
As always, if you have an idea for a presentation or a speaker, please reach out to myself or Manjesh Gorajala.
