Upvoted this issue. Also experiencing the same thing in server 9.0 and 9.2.
Edit (more detail): Dashboard exceeds complexity threshold + server side rendering is enabled.
I was able to find a workaround for this issue of automatic dashboard resizing. By un-checking the "Show Sheets As Tabs" box before publishing, this will allow you to continue using actions to navigate between worksheets/dashboards. While the Select filter actions will work when "All Fields" at the bottom of the action display box is selected, it seems that there were still intermittent issues with the functionality of that type of action. Use Menu filter actions to see consistency with your navigation actions. When doing this, your users will be able to go from one dashboard to another and land at the top of each new view.
I hope this helps,
I am having this same issue in 10.2.0. It's very frustrating.
Agreed I am still having this issue too. They appear different sized in Desktop but as soon as I upload to server they all appear as the largest size
I am also having the problem.
When i set the maximum height on the dashboards the actual rendering is properly sized. but there is a section of empty space at the bottom of the webpage when i publish it.
Everything looks correct in the desktop before I publish it.
I'm having the same problem in 2018.1. This is very frustrating.
The dashboards appear in different sizes in Desktop version, but not on the server if I publish the workbook with the "Show sheets as tabs" option enabled.
As @Dillon Scaduto said above, the actual rendering of the dashboard is properly sized if I set the maximum height in each dashboard, but I see the empty space at the bottom of the page.
