In the attached workbook, I want to show the sub-sectors that are falling under each of the industries in the worksheet. However the sub-sectors are all being mapped under Null. Ideally, we want to show the sub-sectors under each Industry as per the table shown in the Excel document "Table to show". So Communications (sub-sector) should come under Comms (Industry), C&G should come under "retail & consumer services". But in my current View in the workbook, all Industries have "Null" in the Sub-sector column. Is there a way to correct this view? Sorry I am new to Tableau and still struggling with some of these issues.
It looks like your "Sub Sector" logic is missing something. I see where it is using "Group II" to determine the sub sector for the client role "SUB_SECTOR".
Should this have an ELSEIF or ELSE condition pointing to a different field for the other rows?
(IE: What logic is used to determine which subsector the other industries are in?)
